Over the past month, the average rental price in Brooklyn has increased by 2.22%, from $3,585 to $3,665. The average rental price for a studio unit increased by 2.71%, from $2,805 to $2,881. The average rental price for a one-bedroom unit increased by 1.91%, from $3,499 to $3,566. The average rental price for a two-bedroom unit increased by 2.16%, from $4,451 to $4,547.

This past month, the most expensive studio units by average price were in Williamsburg. The most expensive one and two-bedroom units by average price were in Dumbo; while the most affordable studio units were in Borough Park / Sunset Park. The most affordable one and two-bedroom units were in Bay Ridge.

Out of the sixteen neighborhoods tracked by this report, fourteen saw their average rental prices increase month-over-month. The remaining areas decreased this month.
